Out of the Office

After a fun and busy Christmas season, I am in Cabo for a little vacation. I am savoring all of the beautiful surroundings, wonderful weather, and some precious time with family. I know it will be hard to come back to Texas after a week of all this :) Hope everyone has a Happy New Year...See you in 2009!

Right before Christmas, I got to sneak in a session with this cute little blue-eyed guy. Since they live in CA, they aren't here but a few times a year, so I'm glad I got to catch him right when he is learning to walk! Kristin, I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a great New Years! Precious Phoebe & Alex

Earlier this week I photographed this adorable set of sisters at their awesome home! I have known their mom for a long long time. When my family used to take road trips up to Colorado when all us kids were little, we would stop and stay with her family in Amarillo on our way. After knowing her for quite some time, it was so amazing to get to photograph her family now :) Wilson, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I had the joy and honor of photographing a sweet family friend's newest addition. Matlock came just in time for Christmas and what a cute little guy he is! He was the perfect model for us and even let his big brother & sister get some pictures with him. Congrats on your newest blessing...he is absolutely perfect!

Happy Thanksgiving

Hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I spent it with a bunch of my brothers, sisters, nieces/nephews, cousins, etc. There are a lot of us and not all of us were even able to make it this year. I am so THANKFUL for my wonderful family!

This little guy was a dream to photograph. He loved the little heater and beanbag I had in tow with me and let us take quite a few shots while he just sat back and relaxed ;)

The Liggitt Family

I have gotten to know Brittany through a girls' Bible Study we're in together and her husband actually graduated from the same HS as I did although a year or two ahead of me. When they asked if I would take their Christmas card picture, of course I jumped at the opportunity to photograph such a sweet couple and my new dear friends!

Wedding in Cabo

No, I haven't become a wedding photographer ;) and don't currently photograph weddings...but when this sweet couple came to me to shoot their wedding in Cabo how could I decline!? They are such a sweet pair and it was an absolute joy to spend time with their friends and family and witness their special day. And of course I had to include some of sweet Annabel who has those beautiful big eyes that are irresistible to us photographers!

It doesn't get much cuter than this little guy with his adoring big sister! Little Will was a joy to photograph and didn't mind us moving him around very much at all. What a blessing and exciting time for this precious family!

Introducing...Cooper Smith Koch

I am proud to introduce my newest nephew, Cooper! He got to be my first newborn to photograph and he was absolutely perfect! Sweet Cooper slept peacefully the entire time with zero 'accidents' surprisingly. I am one lucky aunt and a very spoiled newborn photographer now ;)

Saturday Morning with The Shires

What a beautiful fall morning I spent with this precious family! Sweet Estelle and Sutton were full of smiles and let me take lots of pictures :) They did so well that we thought they each deserved a yummy lollipop and some playground time!

The Fail Family

I had the joy of meeting with this wonderful family last week for some Christmas Card pictures. It was actually only my 2nd time to shoot a family with boys...I have been getting so many families with lots of girls so I almost started to forget how much fun little boys can be! They tend to be a lot more relaxed in front of the camera which is great, especially for those candid family shots.

A big thank you to the Fail's for letting me come spend the morning with them. You all are such a wonderful family; those boys absolutely adore you both! I hope you enjoy this sneak peek while I finish up your proofs :)
