Sam & Kate

What a fun morning I had with this awesome family that came up from Austin to see me yesterday. They have been scheduled on the calendar since February, so I was happy to finally get to meet them! Sam {3} was very excited to go out and see all the ducks by the pond, and he could not have been more sweet with his precious baby sister Kate {5 months}. Ava & Daisy

Yesterday's session was such a joy with these sweet sisters. Ava {5} and Daisy {3} are cousins of some adorable boys I had the privilege of photographing a couple months ago. I must say that this family must have good genes, because all the kids are adorable! We decided to venture to the park and enjoy the beautiful spring foliage that is popping up around here. Roz, it was such a pleasure spending time with you and your girls and Linda, it was great to see you again! I will email the link for the pettiskirts here soon. Margot

Despite the looming clouds on Tuesday, the rain decided to hold off so I could photograph this sweet girl. Margot just learned to walk this week so she is practicing a lot! She sure is a cutie and already has such a fun personality! Ashley, glad we decided to go ahead with the session :) I hope you enjoy these few while I work on your proof slideshow.

Prayers for Will

I went to photograph sweet Will again this past weekend and just as usual, he was happy as ever! I think he is starting to get quite accustomed to the clicking noise of my camera :) Not to mention being a cutie, this is one strong and brave little boy! He had to have open heart surgery when he was born and his family just found out he needs to have another one sooner than they expected. He will be having open heart surgery again on April 13th and I know prayers would be much appreciated for this little guy and his family. I have been so humbled by their strength through it all. Each and every time I have seen or talked to his parents they have both been so happy and strong despite the ups and downs they have been through. Will is truly a gift to them and big sister Paige and I am faithful that the Lord is going to watch over him through this next surgery. Thank you Laurie & Craig for letting me come back over and get some more pictures of Will. I will be praying for y'all in the coming weeks and will be working on the rest of the pictures in the meantime. Much love to you all!

Adorable Aidan

I knew from the moment we scheduled this session we were going to have a blast! Aidan's mom suggested we do the session at the new house they're remodeling. Bare hardwood floors+lots of windows=photographer heaven! We had so much fun and it was my fastest session ever due to Aidan's sweet and fun personality. Seriously, I wanted to take this cutie home with me ;) I love this age! I'm so glad we went ahead with the session despite the looming clouds. Hope you enjoy this sneak peek Michelle.

Meet Harlan {8 Days}

Well, if you haven't guessed it by now it is most definitely newborn season around here! Even though there is a lot of sweat and hard work that goes into each newborn session, it is becoming one of my favorite types of session to do. Witnessing God's amazing miracles and seeing these precious babies with such loving and happy families is so special to be able to capture.

Harlan was a champ for us and hung in there till the very end! Her mom and I had the best time chatting while taking breaks to feed Harlan and get her nice and sleepy :) And besides this little girl being absolutely adorable, she has the best head of hair ever! I can tell she is going to grow up to have awesome hair. Hope you enjoy this little sneak peek Jennifer & Silas and congrats on sweet Harlan!

Benjamin {14 Days}

I have already had the pleasure of photographing this sweet boy 3 times. For his newborn session, he wasn't into it the first day, so I came back the next and we got him in a deep sleep or "milk drunk" as we called it ;) Hope you all enjoy this little sneak peek Elizabeth & Bryce. Meet Maggie & Marley

Jennifer & I taught VBS together last summer with my sister. When I found out she was pregnant with twins, I knew I just had to photograph them. So, here is my first casting call...with twins! My friend Melissa & I had such fun with these two cuties, and they cooperated perfectly for us. Congratulations on your beautiful little girls. They are just gorgeous, and it was an absolute joy to come photograph them :) Thank you for being up for anything!

Meet Elijah-Part 2

Yet another fun day was spent with my newest nephew. After sleeping a whopping 6 hour stretch for his sweet mom, he fell asleep again when I got there and was out for the count the entire time!

Meet Elijah-Part 1

God is good! He blessed me with another nephew last week...making the count: 3 nieces & 4 nephews for those of you who have lost count ;) I have spent the past couple days pretty much camped out in their house. Sarah has been up for ANYTHING which has made it really fun to try out all my ideas, as well as, some of the ones she came up with! Prepare for cuteness overload...

Meet Benjamin

While my sister-in-law was having her baby...a family friend of ours was having one down the hall! The mom of this precious boy and I decided that she has known me since I was about 2, as she and my sister were good friends growing up. Pretty crazy that now I get to photograph her little one! Congrats on your sweet baby boy. He is just gorgeous, and I can't wait to come and do his newborn photos for y'all :)

Sweet Boy

This little boy reminds me of why I love my job. He had to have heart surgery after he was born and was the sweetest thing when I got to photograph his newborn session.
